Amazon has launched the third-generation Echo Show 5 smart display in India with a fresh rounded design, improved audio, and smarter home control capabilities. Priced at ₹10,999 as an introductory offer, it’s available via Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma. The device sports a 5.5-inch screen, a built-in camera for video calls and home monitoring, and features the new AZ2 Neural Edge processor alongside an improved microphone array for better responsiveness. It’s available in two sleek colours—Charcoal and Cloud Blue.

The Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen) offers significant audio improvements over its predecessor, delivering twice the bass and clearer sound, according to Amazon. It features a 1.7-inch rear-facing speaker and supports music streaming from platforms like Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Music, JioSaavn, and Audible, making it the best-sounding Echo Show 5 yet.

Beyond entertainment, the smart display doubles as a smart home hub, allowing users to control lights, fans, ACs, and other compatible devices using Alexa voice commands or the touchscreen. With its built-in camera, users can monitor real-time feeds from video doorbells and security cameras, and use the ‘Drop In’ feature for remote check-ins or video calls via Alexa-enabled devices or the app.

Positioned as a bedside or desk companion, it balances utility with privacy—thanks to a built-in camera shutter, microphone off button, and user-friendly privacy settings via the Alexa app.
