Apple has announced its fourth retail store in India, Apple Koregaon Park, which will open on September 4. The news follows closely on the heels of its third store launch in Bengaluru. Interestingly, the announcement comes just days before Apple is expected to send out invitations for its major iPhone launch event scheduled in the first half of September.

Apple revealed the barricade for its upcoming Koregaon Park store in Pune on Tuesday morning, showcasing the same theme as Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru. Both the third and fourth Apple stores in India feature artwork inspired by the Peacock, India’s national bird and a symbol of pride.

Although Apple has not disclosed the exact specifications of the Pune outlet, reports suggest it could span around 10,000 square feet. The expansion comes at a significant time, with the highly anticipated iPhone 17 series launch just around the corner.

Apple’s third India store, located at Phoenix Mall of Asia, Bellary Road, Bengaluru, will open on September 2. The launch of the Pune store on September 4 follows closely, marking two quick successive announcements. After the debut of Apple BKC in April 2023 and Apple Saket in New Delhi soon after, Apple is clearly accelerating its retail presence in India.
Much like Apple BKC, Saket, and Hebbal, the Pune store will allow customers to explore the full range of Apple products, with guidance from Specialists, Creatives, and Geniuses. Apple will also host free Today at Apple sessions on topics like photography, music, art, and coding.
“With the addition of new retail services like Shop with a Specialist over Video and the Apple Store app launched earlier this year, Apple continues to deepen its commitment to customers in India, empowering customers with more personalised and secure ways to connect with Apple than ever before,” the company said in its press release. The store openings align perfectly with the upcoming iPhone 17 launch, expected in early September.
