After updating the MacBook Pro, Vision Pro, and iPad Pro with the new M5 chip last month, shortly after the iPhone 17 launch, Apple’s 2026 product roadmap has now leaked, hinting at a packed year ahead.
The lineup is expected to include a refreshed iPad Mini, new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models, the iPhone 17e, the more premium iPhone 18 Pro, and a major AI upgrade for Siri. Reports also suggest Apple may finally step into two new categories: foldable iPhones and smart home devices, marking a big expansion beyond its usual ecosystem.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says 2026 could be a “pivotal year” for Apple, as the company prepares to enter new categories like foldable phones and smart home devices, all while navigating global regulations and US tariff issues. The timing is symbolic: Apple turns 50 on April 1, 2026, and is reportedly planning to mark the milestone with a major product launch event.
In early 2026, Apple is expected to roll out several refreshed devices including the iPhone 17e, a new entry-level iPad with the A18 chip, and an upgraded iPad Air powered by the M4 chipset. New MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models powered by M5-series chips (M5, M5 Pro, M5 Max) are also planned, along with updated Mac monitors. Apple is even preparing a smart home display, coming in both speaker-base and wall-mounted versions, which could eventually expand into a full home security ecosystem.

Around the same period, Apple is also expected to launch its long-awaited AI-powered Siri upgrade and refresh the Mac Mini and Mac Studio with M5 chips. But the biggest spotlight will fall on the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, set for a September 2026 debut, bringing a major shift: Apple will reportedly drop Qualcomm modems in favor of its own in-house C2 cellular modem.
WWDC 2026 in June is expected to host the reveal of iOS 27, macOS 27, and watchOS 27, along with major AI announcements. Later in the year, Apple may refresh the MacBook Pro again, this time with M6 Pro and M6 Max chips, slimmer bodies, and OLED touchscreens. A refreshed iPad Mini is also said to be in the pipeline, closing out what could be one of Apple’s most packed product years ever.
