BMore Bald Expo 2025 invites the world to celebrate bald beauty, bold identity and Black empowerment — Aug. 8-10 at Baltimore’s BWI Corridor

Three-day expo features a private shopping kick-off, “Bald Night Out” Gala, “Be Bald ’Bout It” brunch and family-friendly fun at the DoubleTree Baltimore-BWI Airport.

The inaugural BMore Bald Expo 2025 will take place Aug. 8-10 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Baltimore–BWI Airport, celebrating bald beauty, Black identity and empowerment. Created by Malaika-Tamu Cooper of Dreadz N Headz, the weekend features shopping, workshops, panels, live entertainment and signature events like the “Bald Night Out” Gala and “Be Bald ’Bout It” Brunch.

BALTIMORE, Md.— The first-ever BMore Bald Expo 2025 is set to transform Baltimore into the epicenter of bald pride from Friday, Aug. 8, through Sunday, Aug. 10, welcoming people of every age, gender and hair journey to embrace confidence and community. Hosted by natural-hair maven Malaika-Tamu Cooper of Dreadz N Headz, the weekend takes over the DoubleTree by Hilton Baltimore – BWI Airport, 890 Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum Heights.

“Bald is more than a look — it’s a lifestyle,” said Cooper, founder of BMore Bald. “Whether you’re living with alopecia, supporting a loved one through chemotherapy, or simply rocking a clean shave, this expo is your space to shine, learn, and connect.”

A Weekend of Bold Experiences

Friday, Aug. 8

  • 3–6 p.m. — Private Shopping Experience and Vendor Preview
  • 6–9 p.m. — Meet-and-Greet Mixer
  • 9 p.m.–late — Vibe Session with music & comedy bmorebald.com

Saturday, Aug. 9

  • Panels on confidence, scalp care, and fashion

Family zones, live music, food-truck court and wellness activities run throughout the expo. Workshops cover everything from dermatology and empowerment coaching to barbering, makeup for hairless heads, and head-wrap styling.
