Crash shuts down I-30 heading west out of Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas — A crash left one person in critical condition and shut down westbound Interstate 30 in Fort Worth on Friday morning, officials said.

The crash was reported around 3:30 a.m. on westbound I-30 at Ridgmar Drive, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. All main lanes remained closed as the morning rush hour began.

Police said the driver of a disabled vehicle was standing outside of their vehicle when another driver struck them. The person who was struck is in critical condition. More details about the crash were not yet released.
