DART service delayed due to an ‘incident’ at Pearl/Arts District Station, officials say

DART posted about the delay on social media just before 8 p.m. Sunday.

DALLAS — Dallas Area Rapid Transit passengers are facing delays Sunday evening after an “incident” at Pearl/Arts District Station, officials said.

DART said on social media that all rail passengers may experience delays and should try to board shuttle buses at SMU/Mockingbird, Deep Ellum, EBJ Union and Victory stations while service is disrupted.

The agency apologized for the inconvenience and thanked riders for their patience.

No further details about the incident or how long delays may last were immediately available. However, DART said that a public information officer would soon provide more updates.

WFAA has a crew at the scene working to gather more information.
