Monday

But I do have bad news for the cool weather lovers: Highs on Monday afternoon will soar into the mid to upper 80s. The warmer weather is brief, as another cold front arrives tonight, but things will be windy and dry before that.
An elevated fire danger exists in our western counties due to warmer weather, dry vegetation and wind gusts that could at times top 30 mph. Be sure to avoid activities that lead to sparks!
This week’s temps
Monday will bring a big spike in the temperatures. Highs will soar back into the upper 80s Monday afternoon ahead of another cold front.
The overnight cold front will come through the area quietly and knock temperatures down into the lower 80s on Tuesday.
After that, it stays warmer than normal the rest of the week.
Rain this week
At this time, most of the weekdays look dry. But we will have a low chance of a rain and storms on Friday.
We’ll adjust the forecast accordingly in the coming days. But, right now, it does not appear we have any widespread rain on the horizon.
14-day forecast
Overall, the temperatures look to stay warmer than normal through this week. And, for the time being, Halloween looks dry! Let’s hope we can keep it that way.
