Elon Musk Calls Sam Altman ‘Liar’ Over Accusation Of Manipulating X; Internet Propose A Cage Fight

After Sam Altman’s jibe at Elon Musk, accusing the latter of manipulating the X/Twitter algorithm for his own benefit, the Tesla boss did not hesitate. Reacting to the OpenAI co-founder’s post, the billionaire remarked,

You got 3M views on your bullshit post, you liar, far more than I’ve received on many of mine, despite me having 50 times your follower count!”

For the unversed, the online beef started when Musk accused the Apple App Store of favoritism with OpenAI-related apps, namely ChatGPT. The xAI founder claimed that despite being the most downloaded and subscribed apps, neither X/Twitter nor Grok is featured in the “Must Have” section of the app store.

Reactions and memes poured in, with netizens taking a jibe at both the billionaire tech honchos. One user remarked, “Mom, the billionaires are fighting again.” Another user wrote, “Sam is not a saint, but turns out you’re no different. Voices are being suppressed on this platform.”

A third user suggested, “I propose this fight be taken over by Grok and GPT respectively and let the AI choose the winner!!!” Yet another user proposed, “Perhaps instead of Zuck we needed the Sam-Elon cage match?” Others chimed in, “We’re one tweet away from Dana White announcing this fight.”
