Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling popped up at the 2025 Essence Festival looking cozy, and fans are convinced the two are back on. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum and her ex-husband were spotted together throughout the weekend. Specifically, Eva shared a video of her and Michael cuddled up, riding a golf cart backstage. She said, “Happy Essence,” then smiled as she placed Michael plainly in view.
After their very public split in 2023, most people didn’t expect to see them reconnecting this way. However, based on footage circulating on social media, Eva and Michael are giving things another try.
In March 2023, Eva filed to end the marriage, calling it “irretrievably broken.” Michael didn’t take the decision lightly and went public with a passionate statement, saying he would “fight for her with every fiber” of his being. Still, by August of that year, the divorce was finalized.

Eva replied, “naw, he’s mine ”—an explicit and confident confirmation of a rekindled romance between the two.
