STEEVE DOOCY (GUEST): Should we have to pay for school supplies? And the answer is absolutely not. But there are a lot of schools that simply don’t have enough stuff. You know, there are millions of teachers across the country and they have specialized curriculum, they want to do different things and so they ask the parents to provide extra stuff. Ultimately, it comes down to — for a school to have everything that all the teachers want, they would have to raise your taxes. And do you want your taxes raised? Absolutely not.
