As H-E-B LP continues its expansion across Dallas-Fort Worth, the company is adding some real estate in Fort Worth to support the effort.

The San Antonio-based grocer plans to spend about $20 million finishing out a 139,000-square-foot industrial space at 6900 AWG Way in south Fort Worth, according to an Aug. 20 Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing.

The space is a general warehouse and storage space to support expansion across North Texas, H-E-B spokesperson Mabrie Jackson wrote in an email, although she did not elaborate further.

According to the filing, the finish out of the building is expected to start Aug. 15 and be completed by March 2027. Maryland-based Andrew W. Booth & Associates Inc. is the design firm listed for the project.
