Here’s who the Texas Rangers picked in the 2025 MLB Draft

ARLINGTON, Texas — Sunday marks the start of the 2025 MLB Draft and we’ll find out who will be selected by the Texas Rangers.

The first three rounds of the draft takes place on Sunday, and rounds four through 20 happen on Monday.

WFAA is keeping track of who the Rangers pick. Their first pick is slotted at No. 12 overall, which is expected to be made at 6:05 p.m. CT on Sunday, according to the team. The No. 52 pick is expected at 8:15 p.m. CT, and the Rangers’ final pick of night one (No. 84) should happen at about 8:45 p.m. CT. 

The Rangers also have the No. 115 overall in the fourth round, No. 146 in the fifth round, and will then select 10th in each of rounds 6-20 to finish the draft.

  • 7th round, No. 205: Paxton Kling – OF – Penn State
  • 8th round, No. 235: Evan Siary – P – Mississippi State 
  • 9th round, No. 265: Owen Proksch – P – Duke
  • 10th round, No. 295: J.D. McReynolds – P – University of Central Missouri
  • 11th round, No. 325: Jacob Johnson – P – Pearl River CC (MS) 
  • 12th round, No. 355:  Jake Barbee – P – Jay M Robinson HS (NC)
  • 13th round, No. 385: Aiden Robertson – P – Walters State CC (TN)
  • 14th round, No. 415: Landon Manzi – P – Killingly HS (CT)
  • 15th round, No. 445: Luke Hanson – SS – Virginia
