Snoop Dogg Opens Up About Shante’s New Business
On the latest episode of the ‘It’s Giving‘ podcast, released on Wednesday, August 20, Snoop Dogg spilled all the tea about Shante’s bold venture into the adult entertainment world. Apparently, Shante scooped up the club about two years ago, and Snoop was gagged when he found out! “It shocked me that she bought the muthaf*****,” he laughed. “I was like, ‘A strip club? Oh wow, honey, I’ll support it!’”
Turns out, this ain’t just a random flex for Shante. Snoop revealed his queen has a history of throwing exotic parties, even for him, so this move was right up her alley. “It’s her world,” he said, noting that Shante’s been hosting male exotic nights at the venue, and he’s not fazed one bit.
“So what do I do? I say, ‘What the hell is you doing?!’ … I support,” Snoop shared.
“I show up. I throw money in the air. You understand what I’m saying? I support you! Because she supported me when I was going through something that I wanted to get off, that I felt like was fun and was fly.”
Snoop’s all about reciprocity, y’all! Shante’s been his ride-or-die through thick and thin, so when she wanted to step into her boss era, he wasn’t about to hold her back. The rap legend says the club is Shante’s passion, and he’s just happy to see her shining.

Snoop Recently Showed Love To Shante During His BET Awards Ultimate Icon Acceptance Speech
Snoop’s been making it clear that Shante’s his rock. During his emotional acceptance speech for the Ultimate Icon Award at the 2025 BET Awards back in June, he gave his wife of nearly three decades a heartfelt shout-out. But more importantly, he let the world know that he’s the man he has become today because of his wife, who has always held him up, no matter what.
“No matter what, she held me down, she holds me down, she’s always been there for me. She’s always been my everything. That’s why she’s on stage tonight. That’s why she’s in my life,” Snoop shared, per PEOPLE.
The crowd was eating it up, and social media was buzzing with fans praising their unbreakable bond. Shante was up on the stage, glowing, and you could tell she felt every word. That’s love.

Snoop Dogg Also Recently Spoke Out Over Backlash For Doing The Crypto Ball During Trump’s Inauguration Weekend
Now, Snoop’s no stranger to controversy. In a May interview on ‘The Breakfast Club,’ he addressed the shade and heavy backlash he got for performing at the Crypto Ball during Trump’s inauguration weekend in January. But according to Snoop, he wasn’t going to miss out on getting a bag for a 30-minute performance DJing on stage, regardless of how people were going to feel about it.
“I call it 30 for 30,” he told the radio show. “And G’s don’t explain s**t. So, that’s why I didn’t explain and go into details when m****r f*****s tried to cancel me and say, ‘He a sellout.’”
Snoop made sure to let it be known he doesn’t endorse the Democratic or Republican party. Instead, he’s throwing his support behind the “gangster party” and living life on his terms.
