Jesse Watters on Cracker Barrel rebrand: “The only thing that could’ve been worse, if they had made it Blacker Barrel”

TYRUS (CO-HOST): This is the last place that you can see white people in their natural habitat. It’s quiet. No one clanks, they’re pleasant. They eat their fatty foods, you know, it’s always a good time. I mean, we have Mexican restaurants, right? We have Spanish — we have barbecue. We have soul food. Can we not have one white restaurant? Is that okay?

JESSE WATTERS (CO-HOST): I see what you’re saying. They’re trying to take the cracker out of the Cracker Barrel.

TYRUS: Let them have one. Let you guys have one.

WATTERS: Right, and white people need to eat, and they need their places to eat.

TYRUS: There’s a lot of them in this country.

WATTERS: You guys have Denny’s. We have Cracker Barrel. We have Olive Garden, too. Do you guys go to Olive Garden?

TYRUS: No, Waffle House.

WATTERS:  The only thing that could’ve been worse, if they had made it Blacker Barrel, you know? That would have been bad. This they could recover from.

TYRUS: You are taking Katie’s valuable time away with whatever just came out of your mouth.
