In the latest episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” Yandy and Mendeecees’ relationship continues to fall apart. Here are the highlights for “A Common Wealth of Problems.”
Zae’s brother is allegedly having an affair with Salma Slims.
Sierra hangs out with Zae and her brother-in-law, Cooley. Cooley alleges that he has been having an affair with Salma Slims. When Sierra finds this hard to believe, he shows the alleged past text messages between them. Sierra can’t understand why Salma would risk her marriage for a ladies’ man like Cooley.
Yandy and Mendeecees clash in front of Judy.
Yandy meets with her mother-in-law, Judy. Mendeecees is running late. So Yandy is nervous about speaking to Judy on her own before he arrives. Judy asks Yandy about the man from London who is alleged to have had an affair with Yandy. Yandy says she and Mendeecees had emotional affairs. However, this wasn’t something she felt they needed to share with the world.
Mendeecees arrives and joins the conversation. Judy tells the couple to take accountability, and Mendeecees says he has. He calls out Yandy for continuously using the word “we”. In a confessional, a producer asks him why he thinks Yandy doesn’t take accountability. He says it’s not in her nature. And he can’t be sure that Yandy told him the full truth about her affair.
Yandy feels like Mendeecees is starting arguments because he’s upset about the headlines. This is very frustrating.
Zae tells Zane about the alleged affair.
Rasheeda catches up with Karlie Redd at her new restaurant. They discuss Yandy. Karlie doesn’t understand why things had to get so messy. Rasheeda says the issue is that Yandy deflects to defend Mendeecees. Karlie reminds Rasheeda that she always has Kirk’s back as well. So she should understand Yandy’s side of things.
Rasheeda confirms that her recent one-on-one with Yandy did not go well.
Karlie goes to speak to Sierra, Zae, and Lil Zane. Zae nearly tells Karlie about Cooley and Salma’s alleged affair. After Karlie leaves to check on the other guests, Zae spills the tea to Zane.
Mendeecees and Yandy’s future is uncertain.
Yandy talks to her cousin Kisha about the tension with Mendeecees. He’s been very moody due to the latest allegations. She doesn’t think this is fair because she’s always had his back despite the rumors about him. Yandy doesn’t want to be the one to keep fighting for their relationship. It is time for Mendeecees to do that.
She breaks down crying, and Kisha consoles her.
Yandy’s conversation with Mendeecees doesn’t go well. Both are fed up with how things have been going in their relationship. Yandy thinks Mendeecees should step up and fight for their relationship like she always has.
Mendeecees asks Yandy if she wants to put everything they don’t know about each other on the table, and she answers no. He doesn’t answer when he’s asked if he wants to take a break. This tells Yandy everything she needs to know, so she ends the conversation.
The cast heads to Puerto Rico for Lil Scrappy’s trip. More drama is to come now that Salma’s alleged affair has been revealed.
