Lip Products Are Getting the Bag Charm Treatment: Here Are 11 Glosses & Balms With Charms Attached

From glosses to oils and everything in between, top brands such as Dior, Wet N Wild, Fenty Beauty and more are dropping products with whimsical adornments from glittering stars and hearts to some favorite cartoon and video-game characters. Some even have key rings, allowing them to be attached to your bag and, of course, your keys.

As recently as May 2025, brands have been capitalizing on this charm-adorned trend. It focuses on the need for both form and function, something we’re seeing being prioritized in many sectors, beauty and fashion spaces. The product has to perform well, sure, but the cuteness factor is also a big draw when customers look to shop lippies. It’s a return to whimsicality, letting your inner child roam free by collecting small trinkets and shiny objects. With the way things are in the world right now, it makes sense that people are embracing the simple pleasures, from blind boxes to fun little charm-adorned lip products.

The Crème Shop’s offering can be shopped at Urban Outfitters for $14, and comes in shades Cocoa Cutie, Marvelous Miffy and Charming Cherry. The charm affixed to the oil’s cap is of Miffy, a fictional Dutch cartoon bunny that has captured the hearts of many both in the Netherlands and overseas. The Kaja offering is a jelly stain formula that works on both the cheeks and lips. Retailing for $25, the product is formulated with a high-shine finish, giving the cheeks and lips a natural wash of color. Both the Peach Fizz and Squeeze Guava hues are adorned with little glittery heart charms and a keyring.

Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty launched the Smurfette Smooches Lip Essentials Duo + Keychain, a lip product duo consisting of the brand’s Fenty Treatz Lip Oil and Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer. (The singer stars as Smurfette in the new Smurfs film that arrived in July.) When used in tandem, the products offer a hydrated, high-shine look to the lips. The included charm is a mini disco ball attached to a keyring.

Dior’s Lip Glow Butter Hydrating Gloss Balm is also a winner in our books. The charm-laden gloss retails for $42, the most expensive offering on our list. The formula is glossy and nourishing, and comes in a shimmer or high-shine finish. You’ve got shades 103 Toffee, 104 Black Cherry, 105 Lychee, 102 Glazed Lavender and 101 Glazed Pink. A silver Dior charm is fixed to the edge of the gloss, offering the packaging a touch of sophistication and Y2K-inspired glamour.

Finally, we have Sweet & Shimmer’s Strawberry Red Glossy Lip Balm. Sweet & Shimmer’s lip balm can be found at Urban Outfitters for $4.99 and comes in a bright red tube with a star charm attached. The formula is hydrating and slightly red-tinted.
