There’s something cathartic about watching people who were scammed reclaim their agency. That’s the premise at the heart of fresh docuseries Love Con Revenge, which recently debuted on Netflix.
Viewers are into it, with the show currently at number seven on the streamer’s English charts. It amassed an impressive three million views this week – but is that enough to ensure a follow-up?
Love Con Revenge Season 2 Release Date
At the time of writing, Netflix hasn’t officially renewed the series for more episodes. However, viewership numbers are good, and the service tends to wait a bit before giving the green light.
In case the show returns, Love Con Revenge season 2 might arrive sometime in late 2026.

What Is Love Con Revenge About?
Love Con Revenge delves into the world of romance scams. Think relationships built on lies and manipulation. Cecilie Fjellhøy, a victim of The Tinder Swindler, uses her know-how and Brianne Joseph’s investigative expertise to help victims bounce back after trusting the wrong person.
Each episode features someone who was defrauded emotionally or financially. Fjellhøy and Joseph interview victims, build evidence, and sometimes confront the alleged fraudsters. The show makes it a point to highlight the psychological impact of the scams, as well as the difficulties victims face in being believed.
It’s a true crime series, sure, but Love Con Revenge also exposes how authorities and social media platforms often fail to address these scams until multiple victims speak out. It approaches victims with empathy, which is crucial, as they already experience a fair degree of shame.
Moreover, the show can be educational, teaching viewers how to recognize the warning signs of a potential romance scam. We all think we could never fall for it. When it comes to matters of the heart, however, even the sharpest of instincts can fail. A moment of weakness is enough for a skilled manipulator to gain trust.
If the show continues, Love Con Revenge season 2 will probably follow the same format. The docuseries isn’t perfect. Editing is shoddy, and some moments feel scripted. Hopefully, those issues will be addressed in the future.
The first batch of episodes proved the mind-boggling lengths a person is willing to go to defraud someone else. It’s unlikely for Fjellhøy and Joseph to run out of cases to investigate anytime soon.
