ATLANTA — A traveler out of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport was recently busted with nearly $3 million in drugs, police allege.

The incident happened on June 28, and the Atlanta Police Department posted bodycam video this weekend of the search and seizure.

According to APD, suspect Vance Ray Randolph was on his way to Brazil when more than 50 pounds of narcotics, most of it hashish, was discovered.

Police said a total of 34.39 pounds of hashish, 12.35 pounds of THC wax, 4.6 pounds of marijuana and 1.21 pounds of pasty marijuana were found. APD estimated total street value of what was seized at $2.97 million

Clayton County Jail records indicate Randolph, 22, was charged with marijuana trafficking and he was released late on June 30.

The bodycam video posted by APD showed him briefly interacting with officers at the airport.
