Multiple lanes of I-30 reopen in Dallas following multi-vehicle crash, officials say

Dallas Fire-Rescue said no one was injured in the crash.

DALLAS — Multiple lanes of Interstate 30 near Hunnicut Lane in Dallas were shut down Saturday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash, according to officials.

Dallas Fire-Rescue said units responded to a crash at 7601 E. R.L. Thornton Freeway at 3:06 p.m. It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved; however, Texas Department of Transportation cameras in the area showed at least one vehicle on each shoulder of the interstate. Reports indicate the median barrier was struck by at least one of the vehicles, DFR said.

DFR said no injuries were reported in the crash.

As of 4 p.m., TxDOT cameras show a cleared scene and steady flow of traffic.
