Last night, Don and I attended the New Braunfels MLK meeting, which also kicked off their annual toy and food drive. I had a chance to spend some time with Emerald Vaughn, their Vice President, and it was good to stand with someone who truly cares about this community and the work being done here.
I also want to remind everyone that our Stop the Healthcare Heist rally is tomorrow from 10am–12pm at S. Walnut Ave. and San Antonio Ave. — the same location where we held the official No Kings 2 event.
This is the only Stop the Healthcare Heist action being led by Indivisible Comal County, and we are collecting toys and non-perishable food items at the rally. Everything gathered tomorrow will be donated directly to New Braunfels MLK to support their holiday toy and food drive.
