New York City streetwear brand Kith to open first store in North Texas

Like other streetwear brands, Kith is known for its secrecy and discretion when it comes to announcing new stores.

A high-end New York streetwear clothing brand is soon opening its first standalone store in Texas on Knox Street.

Without much fuss, Kith quietly began readying its approximately 10,000-square-foot store at 4600 McKinney Ave. earlier this summer. The one-floor space was previously occupied by Anthropologie, which vacated the site in May 2025 after about three years. The clothing and home goods retailer, which is a part of URBN brands, has since relocated to a new location down the street at 4519 McKinney Ave.

Signage first went up at the site this month, and many people on social media have taken notice, speculating when it could open. On Thursday, several people walking in the Knox area paused by the store to take a peek at the windows and displays. Some employees were also seen inside the space. According to employees outside the store, Kith plans to open in Dallas this weekend.

Like other streetwear brands, Kith is known for its secrecy and discretion when it comes to announcing new stores. Many celebrities and athletes are known for donning the brand in public, including Justin Bieber, Bella Hadid and LeBron James. It is known for targeting fashion-forward young adults.
