Newsmax’s Greg Kelly tells Charlie Kirk: “A lot of folks think that you’re going to be leading this country some day”

GREG KELLY (HOST): I’m proud to say the we led with the GDP and the trade and the 1.3 trillion —

CHARLIE KIRK (GUEST): Oh I know you did. 

KELLY: Because it hasn’t been emphasized enough.

But hey, do me a favor. Look at these presidents. We were just talking about your typical standard president, I noticed something about these guys. I want to take you through it. They all got into politics young. And there’s nothing wrong with getting into politics young. But — and then they became president. They started working their way up the ladder. President Trump got into politics at the age of 69. And I felt like, you know, he accumulated world class talent. None of these guys had world class talent at anything, you know what I mean? They were effective politicians. And a case can be made for an older person who has world class talent, contributions that could be made in some sector other than politics. That’s what President Trump has brought to the table. And I think it’s magnificent. And I think it’s worthy of emulation. It might be impossible, but I like the idea. Can I just get your thoughts on that?

KIRK: Yeah. There will never be another President Trump. But understand he brought his business expertise, his business acumen to the international order. They’re not used to dealing with somebody like President Trump. You see he is willing to use tariffs to defend American workers. He is willing to stand up against all the expert class. Remember, during Liberation Day, the market went down. Everyone was panicking. President Trump stood resolutely. Now the market is at record highs. We have record crushing market caps. And you look at where we are at the end of July. Almost every single one of these experts is now eating crow, as they should. Every one of these experts now, they made these bold proclamations that were wrong. And now the other countries are begging to get into the United States. They are begging to get entrance into our markets because we have made this the most desirable, hottest country on the planet, thanks to President Trump’s leadership.

KELLY: And Charlie Kirk, if you look at the blogs and you look at the websites, a lot of folks think that you’re going to be leading this country some day.
