Days before celebrating her birthday, GloRilla was forced to make a jail pit stop! She’s facing drug possession charges in Georgia amid being the owner of a burglarized home that had marijuana in it. The kicker is that the rapper was doing her job in Indianapolis when the incident happened. Despite the “crazy” circumstances, Glo is pushing through, promoting her first annual bash, and teasing her upcoming 26th birthday with HAWT photos!

GloRilla Glitters In Pre-Birthday Photos
As far as the timeline goes, GloRilla broke her silence on her possession charges and arrest first. Then, she hopped on the ‘gram and gave her 7.1 million followers something else to obsess over. She teased what appears to be a 26th birthday photoshoot by dropping two photos on her feed! She’s wearing a sparkly t-shirt dress with wavy bundles stretching to the floor, diamond hoop earrings, and matching dancer heels.
In the first photo, she slightly leaned over while gripping a chair, showing off her curves and long legs! In the second photo, she straddled the chair to highlight her legs again and lifted her shirt, teasing a bit of underboob. Her caption seemingly suggests she isn’t too pressed about that quick jail stint and $22,000 bond! “Anyways, dey done let da LEOS ina door.”

Here’s How The Rapper Reacted To Georgia Arrest & Charges
So, what’s tea with Glo picking up drug-related charges? Long story short, a call for backup turned into a search warrant, and the Memphis artist picked up the charges while not even being present! Three home invaders are still on the loose after getting away with jewelry from Glo’s Georgia home on Saturday, July 19. While investigating the invasion, deputies sought a search warrant after getting a whiff of marijuana in the air. They later discovered over an ounce of cannabis in the home’s master bedroom closet “in plain view.” Again, GloRilla was not even in the state at the time.
Her attorneys, Marissa Goldberg and Drew Findling, were the first to address the charges and incident. They called GloRilla’s arrest a “disturbing window into how warped law enforcement priorities have become.” Additionally, the statement slammed the response from Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office deputies to the burglary 911 call. Their statement accused deputies of escalating a situation in which GloRilla’s family, who were at the crib, were already traumatized.
“Law enforcement then sought arrest warrants for her even though she hadn’t been at her home for some time. No arrest warrants have been issued for the violent home invaders. Ms. Woods is a victim, not a suspect. This is our tax dollars at work, absolutely unbelievable,” the statement added.
After her lawyers issued a statement, GloRilla broke her silence on social media. She explained what happened, calling it “crazy,” and clarified that she was not in a drug bust.
And Then There’s Glo Bash!
After dropping her birthday teaser video, GloRilla teased another major project: the first annual Glo Bash. She shared a throwback behind-the-scenes video of the ‘F.N.F. (Let’s Go)’ video shoot, the song that helped put her on the map! In her caption, she wrote: “1st Annual Glo Bash Tomorrow ” She’s hosting the event at FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee, three days before her 26th birthday on July 25. Muni Long and Rob49 will also be performing!
Career-wise, GloRilla has been in her bag these last few years with minimal interruptions! We’re talking in the booth, making bangers, on the carpets serving body, in interviews giving “burtiful” energy, and on stages with fire choreography! This year, her ‘Glorious’ tour ran from March until April with opening acts Real Boston Richey and Queen Key.
However, with all the ups, there have also been a few legal tangles! In April 2024, Glo was arrested for DUI after a few sobriety field tests and her refusal to take a breathalyzer. She got out on bond and received other traffic violations. Then, last month, an influencer filed a lawsuit against GloRilla, claiming that the rapper stole a catchphrase she made viral, ‘No BBL,’ and used it in a song. Now, only time will reveal what’s next for GloRilla’s drug possession charges in Georgia!
