OnePlus 15T Leak Reveals 6.3-Inch Display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, 7,000mAh Battery

OnePlus is said to be gearing up to expand its flagship 15 series with a compact but powerful new smartphone, likely named the OnePlus 15T. Recent leaks suggest the device will offer premium specifications in a smaller form factor, targeting users who want top-tier performance without a large handset.

According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, OnePlus has reportedly begun internal preparations for the OnePlus 15T, suggesting the compact flagship is edging closer to launch. Trial production of accessories linked to the device is said to be underway, pointing to advanced development stages. The company is also rumoured to be experimenting with new accessories, including a magnetic snap-on case that could be offered in white and grey colour options.

The OnePlus 15T is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and an unusually high 165Hz refresh rate. If accurate, this would place the device among the smoothest-performing flagship smartphones in its segment. The display size and flat panel design indicate a focus on a compact yet premium user experience.

In terms of build and hardware, the smartphone is expected to sport a metal frame and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded under the display. Despite its relatively smaller footprint, the OnePlus 15T could pack a battery exceeding 7,000mAh, potentially giving it a major advantage in battery life compared to most flagship rivals.

On the imaging and performance front, leaks suggest a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, highlighting an emphasis on optical zoom. The phone is also rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Reports indicate a possible launch in China in the first half of 2026, followed by an India launch under a different name, possibly the OnePlus 15s, though official confirmation is still awaited.
