OnePlus is expanding its AI capabilities with the wider rollout of AI Plus Mind, its built-in personal assistant feature. Originally introduced on the OnePlus 13s, the tool is now available on the OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R, and the Nord 5 series, bringing the AI-powered experience to a larger base of users.

OnePlus’ new AI Plus Mind feature is built around the Plus Key, a dedicated button designed to speed up tasks and provide contextual assistance. By learning from user behaviour, the system anticipates needs and reduces the number of manual steps required for everyday actions. The company’s goal is to make smartphones feel more proactive and personalised, moving beyond a purely responsive experience.

At the heart of AI Plus Mind are three major functions. The first is Capture and Organise, which lets users save information from the screen with a single press of the Plus Key or a three-finger swipe. Items like tickets, schedules, and reservations are automatically sorted within the Mind Space app, which extracts key details for easy access later. This removes the need for users to manually copy or track important information.
The second feature, AI Search, enables retrieval of stored information through natural language queries. Instead of digging through apps or files, users can simply ask, for example, “Show me my hotel booking” or “Find my flight details,” and the assistant will instantly surface the results. This conversational search extends across Mind Space, notes, files, and even device settings.

The third capability, Smart Suggestions, provides timely prompts based on context. Saving a concert ticket could prompt a calendar entry, while spotting a doctor’s appointment in a message might generate a reminder.
With AI Plus Mind now rolling out to the OnePlus 13, 13R, and Nord 5 series, OnePlus is positioning it as a seamless productivity companion. As competition heats up in the Android space, AI integration like this is becoming central to OnePlus’ strategy, helping set its devices apart through smarter, more intuitive user experiences.
