Porsha Williams claims Simon Guobadia violated the terms of their divorce.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams is asking a Fulton County judge to hold her ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, in contempt of their Final Judgment and Decree of Divorce. The order was entered on July 11, 2025. In her filing, she accuses him of ignoring several obligations from their prenuptial agreement and the final divorce decree. This has left him with at least $667,359.55 in unpaid debts.
Williams alleges that Guobadia failed to pay $40,000 a month in alimony. This left $80,000 outstanding. She says he also never secured a required life insurance policy worth $560,000. He refused to transfer the title of their former marital home into the designated trust and failed to sign a quitclaim deed so she could refinance the property. Williams also claims she covered $164,209.99 in home costs. Furthermore, Guobadia failed to pay $198,265.96 in property taxes. On top of that, she says he has not paid $224,883.60 in court-ordered attorney’s fees or cleared the loan on the 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost awarded to her.
Porsha’s asking the court to hold Simon in contempt.
Williams wants Guobadia held in civil and criminal contempt, with sanctions that could include incarceration until payments are made. She is also asking the court to remove his interest in the marital home under Georgia law. The court should satisfy unpaid sums from his share of the property’s equity. Moreover, she wants to ensure he does not benefit from what she calls “contemptuous conduct.” A compliance hearing is set for September 26, 2025. Another contempt hearing will follow in December.
According to TMZ, Guobadia responded by saying he first learned of the petition through media reports and called it premature. He also first learned of the contempt petition through the media and dismissed the filing as premature, given the appeal process. Simon even goes so far as to suggest it carried no real weight.
However, the Georgia Court of Appeals has already denied his attempt to overturn the divorce ruling, leaving the trial court’s orders in place.
Simon also has a federal defamation case open against Porsha.
