In the latest episode of “Power Book IV: Force,” Diamond and Tommy’s business relationship sours once the truth is out. Here is the recap for “Lines in the Sand.”

Diamond and Jenard’s plan works out.

Peter, leader of the Albanian mob, tells Tommy that their spot was recently ransacked by masked men with guns (Tommy doesn’t know Vic is responsible as of yet). He urges Tommy to fix the matter if they are going to stay in business together. Tommy promises to find out who was responsible and make it right.

Diamond and Jenard get a unanimous vote to start moving fentanyl. They purposely tell Tommy the wrong meeting time so he shows up late. He’s upset that the decision was made without him. But he makes a mental note of Jenard being told that Shanti is going to snap because she doesn’t fool around with fentanyl.

Miguel preps his Insane Princes gang to go to war against Ortega because the Serbs are applying pressure. So Ortega wants to take the territories away from the Insane Princes. He tells everyone to grab guns if they need them and assigns his right-hand man to keep watch on Mireya.

JP and D-Mac move forward.

Tommy sends Jenard to Vic’s since he suspects it was Vic behind the hit made on the Albanians. Jenard tells Vic that Tommy knows about his girlfriend, Rae, and has her address. Jenard was told to go to Rae’s place next if Vic doesn’t tighten up. He makes it clear that he plans to cross Tommy at some point to get back on top, and Vic should do the same, but he has to be smart.

Tommy tells Shanti that Diamond and Jenard voted with the rest of CBI to start moving fentanyl. An angry Shanti says she wouldn’t have voted for the move if she had been there. She and Tommy are convinced Diamond and Jenard are working together to push them out. And Shanti thinks this is a dirty play since she got Jenard clean per Diamond’s request.

D-Mac and JP hash things out. JP didn’t have the best relationship with his father because he couldn’t accept that he was gay. So he doesn’t want to make the same mistake. JP has decided to accept D-Mac for who he is, including his love for the street life. D-Mac appreciates this, and they hug it out.

Ortega uses his burner prison phone to call up his hitman to take out Miguel and Tommy.

Shanti catches Jenard in the act.

Diamond snaps on one of the female members of CBI after she expresses that she doesn’t want to deal with fentanyl because it kills people. He tells her she has no choice but to do what she is told, and he doesn’t care about anyone dying.

Vic takes Jenard’s advice. He kills one of his childhood friends to pin the Albanian problem on so he can get Tommy off his back.

Stacy goes to Tommy’s place to try to convince Mireya to flip on him. When she notices the baby stuff on the table, she asks Mireya if she’s certain she wants to have a baby by a murderer. Mireya tells her to leave.

Tommy sends Jenard to the club to hand over a package to Shanti. He ends up sleeping with one of the female workers and getting high off the drugs she offers him. Shanti walks in on them. They argue and exchange sharp words. Shanti ends the relationship and takes a bat to Jenard’s Lamborghini.

Tommy later goes to the club to pay the female worker for setting up Jenard.

Shanti sets up the play.

D-Mac takes his girlfriend Genesis to meet JP and have dinner. Genesis brags about D-Mac getting a 1400 on the SAT. She wants him to go to Morehouse since she’s going to Spelman. She believes D-Mac can do anything he puts his mind to. JP tells D-Mac he should consider relocating to Atlanta and pursuing his college education.

Stacy comes clean to her estranged husband and detective Bobby about how she compromised herself with Tommy. He urges Stacy to change things around. And she vows to keep him out of her mess.

Miguel survives two of Ortega’s hitmen ambushing him and tells one to tell Ortega he’s killing everybody.

When Tommy checks in on Shanti, she tells him he needs to watch his back because his days in CBI are numbered. Diamond and Jenard tried to set D-Mac up to be killed to make things right with King Kilo. So they aren’t to be trusted. This information angers Tommy, and he leaves promptly.

Tommy and Diamond are done.

D-Mac calls Kate to check on her. He apologizes for speaking to her harshly the last time they spoke. She accepts his apology. Although she misses everyone, she’s bonded with the people she’s met through Alcoholics Anonymous. And she wants to stay there until she feels more confident about resuming her old life. D-Mac understands.

Tommy goes to the CBI hangout to confront Diamond about setting D-Mac up to be killed. They fist fight, and Diamond tells Tommy he is out of CBI.

Ortega’s hitman tells him he found out Tommy impregnated Mireya. So Ortega orders him to kill Mireya and the baby since Tommy killed his uncle.

Stacy meets with Tommy to tell him she’s done working for him. She has allies who will back her despite her dealings with him. After she takes out handcuffs to arrest him for Claudia’s murder, he shoots and kills her.
