In the latest episode of “Power Book IV: Force,” Tommy ruins Claudia and Stacy’s plans. Here is the recap for “The Last Dance.”
Tommy gets his meeting with Claudia.
Claudia is officially out of jail. She talks to her girlfriend, Elise, about her and Stacy Marks’ plan. She agreed to set up Tommy so they can get him for attempted murder. Elise thinks this is a bad idea because Tommy is a very dangerous man, but Claudia thinks the feds will keep her safe. Elise also tells Claudia it wasn’t smart for her to agree to testify against Ortega. But Claudia says she wants them to leave the country and go to Barbados so she won’t have to testify.
Elise storms off in frustration.
Tommy tells Mireya about Liliana’s tragic fate and how he finally has a way to make things right. He calls Claudia and convinces her to meet him since they are both currently wanted by Ortega and the Marquez cartel. She reluctantly agrees to meet.
Claudia tries to link back up with Vic.
Diamond meets with Jenard and other CBI members after Wheelie, one of their men, was shot and killed by a member of the Yardies gang. Jenard thinks CBI should hit back but Diamond thinks they should try to recruit the Yardies into the coalition. When Jenard voices his concerns about other members being against this, Diamond reminds him that he calls the shots.
Claudia shows up to the meeting location, wired as the feds look on. Tommy figures this out and doesn’t take the bait when Claudia tries to get him to admit to selling drugs together.
The failed meeting with Tommy results in Claudia popping up on Vic at the property their father left him. She tries to talk Vic into working together to take out Tommy, but Vic is done with her. Unfortunately for Vic, Stacy’s assistant, Rae, walks in as Claudia is leaving. Vic comes clean about being a Flynn and using Rae to donate money from Tommy to Stacy’s mayoral campaign.
Rae agrees to stay after Vic says his feelings for her are real.
Tommy flips Stacy.
Diamond, Jenard, and other CBI members meet with Zamost and the Yardies. Zamost eventually agrees to join the coalition. However, he refuses when he is told Wheelie’s killer must be killed. So Zamost and the Yardies are taken out. Now CBI will take over the Yardies’ turf.
Jenard is told he will be allowed to attend the upcoming meeting with Che. He starts to text Shanti the good news but changes his mind at the last second.
Tommy and Vic confront Stacy and reveal that Tommy made the hefty donation to her campaign. Now that Tommy has made one of Stacy’s witnesses flip and accuse her of intimidation, Stacy has no choice but to agree to work for him. She takes the $300,000 he gives her to pay off the union cops who have been extorting her. Tommy also tells her to lighten the security for Claudia’s girlfriend, Elsie.
JP and Tommy open a package from Kate. Turns out she sent them the rest of the beers at her place. She has given up alcohol. They aren’t so sure she will be able to stay sober, but hope for the best as they toast.
The brothers also discuss D-Mac. JP still doesn’t like that D-Mac is back with CBI, but he knows D-Mac will be safer with Tommy around.
Claudia meets her demise.
When Stacy meets with Claudia again, she tells Claudia to meet with Tommy once more. But this time, she has set it up for Claudia to kill him. If Claudia does this, Tommy will be out of the equation, and Stacy will let Claudia run her drug empire in peace while she is mayor.
Some of Walter’s old crew visit Vic and question why he’s not going after Tommy. They inform him that Walter has people in Milwaukee and New York just waiting on a leader. Vic smirks at the opportunity.
Tommy finds Elise and offers her $1 million cash to tell him Claudia’s plans. He tells her Claudia has killed people, including a girlfriend.
Mireya takes a pregnancy test, and it comes back positive. She texts Tommy to tell him she has something to tell him later.
Vic leaves Claudia a voice message to tell her he’s reconsidered and can help her with her Tommy problem. Meanwhile, she is trying to sneak into Tommy’s place. Tommy is waiting for her, and this shocks her. She dies in the shootout after she admits to killing Liliana.
Tommy calls up Shanti to help him clean up the mess and learns from her that Diamond and CBI took out the Yardies. She thinks Jenard and Diamond are only looking out for themselves.
Mireya makes it to Tommy’s place before Claudia’s blood is cleaned u,p and as a result, she doesn’t tell him she’s pregnant.
