While on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, the 39-year-old That’s So Raven star said she and her ex had been together for a long time when he fathered a child with someone else. The twist came when he asked her to play a special role in the baby’s life.
“We were together for a really long time, and he got another girl pregnant,” Raven said, according to Vibe. “The best part of the story is that I was asked to be the child’s godmother.”
Raven didn’t name her ex but made it clear they’re still on good terms. “There’s nothing but love and respect for all that he’s gone through, and his family. He still talks about it all the time… dumba**.”
The actress married Miranda Pearman-Maday in 2020, marking her first public lesbian relationship. At the time, she shared on Instagram, “Got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home.”
