Order in the court! A top-tier legal series is returning for season three on Friday, and we’ve got an exclusive premiere clip!
As previously reported, season three of Reasonable Doubt will premiere this Thursday, September 18, on Hulu. The new season will launch with 2 episodes back-to-back, followed by weekly releases until the mid-November finale.
The show follows the life of high-powered defense attorney Jax Stewart, portrayed by Emayatzy Corinealdi. In Season 2, viewers saw Jax struggle to save her best friend from a life sentence and close the door on the explosive affair she had with her late lover. Now, in Season 3, Jax has finally found a little peace, even if it feels painfully dull. But when a former child star lands in serious trouble, Jax jumps at the chance to shake things up. As her client’s wild personal life spirals into Hollywood-level chaos and a slick new associate threatens her position at the firm, Jax must fight to protect everything she’s built, without losing it all in the process.
Reasonable Doubt Exclusive Clip
In an exclusive premiere clip, we see Jax and Lewis enjoying marital bliss. The couple that’s made it through their rough patch and the shocking death of Lewis’ infant son is enjoying a romantic dinner before things go awry.
Jax is recognized by a fellow attorney who’s on a date with Toni, the mother of Lewis’ late child who’s suing them.
An irate Toni tells her date that the couple “killed her baby,” but Jax isn’t having it.
“You know, the truth, Michael, is that Tony had a baby with my husband, because that’s what she does,” says Jax. “F*** married men. Oh, wait, and women too, right? So, Michael, it’s gonna be a great night, but make sure you wear protection. You don’t know what’s swirling around in that swamp.
“Enjoy your dinner, though. I hear the cornbread is bomb!” she adds with a smile.
