Samsung Galaxy S26 Launch Details
According to tipster Ice Universe, Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco, USA. The choice of location is said to highlight the company’s focus on AI features, with San Francisco being a hub for AI startups. Buyers may have to wait until early March to purchase the devices, with the leak corroborated by @Evleaks. The delay from the usual January launch comes after Samsung allegedly cancelled plans to replace the Galaxy S26 Plus with the ultra-slim S26 Edge.

Design, Display, and Chipset
Leaked images suggest modest design changes, including a unified camera module across all models and more rounded corners for the S26 Ultra, which may also feature a rounded S Pen. Display-wise, the S26 Ultra could sport a 6.9-inch QHD Samsung M14 OLED panel with a privacy screen feature, the standard S26 a 6.2-inch QHD OLED, and the S26 Plus a 6.9-inch OLED. Samsung is expected to use a split chipset strategy, with some regions receiving the Exynos 2600 SoC (built on a 2nm process) and others the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, alongside new AI enhancements across the series.
Battery and Camera Upgrades
The S26 Ultra is rumoured to include a 5,000mAh battery with 60W wired fast charging, while the S26 and S26 Plus are expected to feature 4,300mAh and 4,900mAh batteries respectively, all supporting Qi2 wireless charging compatible with Apple’s MagSafe. Camera improvements are said to focus on reducing lens flare and better image processing. The S26 Ultra is likely to retain its quad-camera setup, including a 200MP main sensor, while the S26 and S26 Plus will feature a 50MP primary lens, a 12MP ultrawide, and a new 12MP 3x telephoto lens.
Pricing and Galaxy S27 Rumours
Samsung is expected to maintain pricing similar to the Galaxy S25 series, with the S26 starting around Rs 80,999, the S26 Plus at Rs 99,999, and the S26 Ultra at Rs 1,29,999 in India. While the S26 series is yet to launch, rumours about the Galaxy S27 have already surfaced, suggesting significant camera upgrades for the 2027 flagship, including redesigned primary, ultrawide, and selfie cameras.
