Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 With Enterprise-Grade Security, Rugged Build Launched In India

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition in India, a rugged 5G-ready tablet tailored for businesses in demanding industries like defence, logistics, healthcare, and manufacturing. Available for advance bookings from August 18 at a starting price of ₹49,999, the tablet sports an 8-inch 120Hz display, an octa-core processor, and comes in two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition is engineered for durability in tough environments, boasting MIL-STD-810H certification, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an IP68-rated S Pen. It packs a replaceable 5,050mAh battery with a unique No Battery Mode for uninterrupted operations when plugged into a power source, making it ideal for continuous use in demanding industries.

The device comes with an Enterprise Edition package, offering a 36-month warranty, including 12 months for the battery. Running on Android 15, Samsung promises up to seven years of software updates, ensuring long-term reliability for enterprise clients. Buyers also get a 12-month subscription to Samsung Knox Suite, the company’s enterprise-grade security platform.

To further support business users, Samsung bundles several enterprise solutions. These include a year of access to Samsung SDS’s Brity Works collaboration platform, limited access to its AI-powered Brity Copilot, free push-to-talk services from Zello until December 2025, and up to 50% discounts on Google Workspace for SMBs. The tablet also includes loudspeakers for noisy work environments, programmable keys, biometric authentication, and wide connectivity support across 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC.

The Galaxy Tab Active5 Enterprise Edition is priced at ₹49,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and ₹56,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. Both models come with a rugged back cover, S Pen, and data cable in the box, offering businesses a complete package for field and enterprise operations.
