A crash downed power poles, closing parts of Old Denton Road and causing a power outage in Carrollton.
CARROLLTON, Texas — A crash that downed a power pole also shut down a stretch of Old Denton Road in Carrollton on Saturday, authorities said.
An SUV crashed into a power pole at Old Denton and Indian Run, knocking it down and causing outages in the area, police said. Utility crews are on scene, and repairs are expected to take about four hours.
Carrollton police said the road is closed north of King Arthur Boulevard, south of Windhaven Parkway, and eastbound at Indian Run and Ottawa Drive.
