Microsoft India remarked,

Netflix India shared a collage of Ajay Devgn starrer Azaad (2025) and Salman Khan starrer Bharat (2019). In another post it shared ‘Saare Jahan Se Achha’s poster with a caption ‘when someone asks me about my country.’
Zomato shared a Winston Churchill quote that demeaned India

Reactions poured in with the internet praising the tech companies for their Independence Day post; however, a cynical few criticized the same, dubbing it as hypocrisy and a PR exercise. A handful of users appreciated the gesture while reminding the tech giants from the Silicon Valley to ‘Make in India first.’
