Texas country singer Pat Green to host live-streamed concert at Globe Life Field to benefit flood victims

The country singer lost his brother, his brother’s wife and two of their children in the devastating floods.

ARLINGTON, Texas — North Texas country singer Pat Green is playing a livestreamed concert at Globe Life Field Wednesday in partnership with the Texas Rangers and REV Entertainment to aid those impacted by the deadly floods in the Texas Hill Country.

Green, who lives in Fort Worth, was personally affected by the tragedy that killed more than 130 people. His brother, his brother’s wife and two of their children were among those lost in the devastating floods, according to an Instagram post from his wife, Kori Green.

On Monday, officials said 101 people were still missing.

The country singer said in a Facebook post that he hopes to lift people up with the live-streamed event as the community continues to search and pick up the pieces.

“No audience, just music and a mission: to help families devastated by the Texas floods — including my own,” Green said in the post about the concert.

This Wednesday, we will go live from Globe Life Field with some amazing friends.
