The Number Of Missing People Drops In Kerr County Following Devastating July Fourth Floods

(WBAP/KLIF) – KERRVILLE, TX – According to the Kerr County Flood Disaster Joint Information Center only three people remain missing from the July 4th Hill Country flood. Officials stated that extensive follow-up work by state and local agencies found that many people who were initially reported as missing have now been verified as safe, and have been removed from the list.

Kerrville City Manager Dalton Rice stated that the progress reflects countless hours of coordinated search and rescue operations, careful investigative work, and an unwavering commitment to bring clarity and hope to families during an unimaginably difficult time.
