DALLAS — A wreck southbound on the Dallas North Tollway is causing major backups.
Dallas Fire-Rescue said its units were called to the scene around 5:06 p.m. on Sunday. The crash happened in the southbound lanes of the DNT near Beverly Drive, the department confirmed.
DFR said the crash involved an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck, and one person was taken to the hospital as a result. Video taken by a passerby showed a Ford pickup pinned under a tanker trailer.
According to the NTTA, all southbound lanes of the tollway at Mockingbird Lane were closed after an accident. DPS is investigating the crash.
