These two boys, close in age and even closer in heart, are full of warmth, kindness, and love for each other.
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — At Andretti Indoor Karting in Grand Prairie, the sound of revving engines and laughter fills the air, but for 11-year-old Kyree and 10-year-old Jerren, it’s more than just a fun day at the track.
It’s a chance to be seen, heard, and hopefully chosen.
“To love me and my brother and take care of us. Feed us every day and give us clothes. Stuff like that,” Kyree says, about the family he wishes would adopt them.
Kyree dreams big. He dreams of love, stability, and a place to call home. His younger brother, Jerren, shares that same hope. “A family that’s not mean. They don’t do stuff they’re not supposed to,” Jerren says softly.
Quiet and sweet, Jerren is a thinker. He watches and listens. And often, he smiles, especially when his brother is nearby.
“Sometimes when I’m looking at my brother, he will be smiling at me. And it just makes me smile,” Jerren says, when asked about how his brother makes him feel safe.
These two boys, close in age and even closer in heart, are full of warmth, kindness, and love for each other.
They both have million-dollar smiles!
“When my teacher gives compliments out, they always compliment me for my smile every day,” Kyree shares. When asked how that makes him feel, he smiles even bigger and answers with one word, “happy.”
From football to bowling to go-kart races, Kyree and Jerren love sports. Jerren plays quarterback and already understands the value of precision and focus.
“You need to throw kind of far and you need good accuracy,” he explains confidently.
Like all brothers, there’s a bit of playful rivalry.
We asked which brother would be the fastest in the go-kart, little brother Jerren gives the thumbs up, ensuring everyone that he will win. But no matter who finishes first, they always stick together.
“He can’t go anywhere without me,” Kyree says proudly. “So I have to always stick with him.”
Jerren agrees. He finds strength in his big brother.
“One time, when I was little, I was scared of the dark and I told my brother. Then he said nothing’s there, and don’t be afraid of the dark.”

They are brothers by birth, but their bond has made them brothers by heart as well. Even as they hope for a forever family, the boys also carry a special love for their sister, who will be placed separately. They want her to always feel welcome.
“When our mom wasn’t there, she took care of us,” Kyree says.
“She makes me happy,” Jerren adds.
These boys know what it means to love deeply — and to be loved in return.
“Feed us. Care for us. And love us,” Jerren says simply.
A forever family for Kyree and Jerren would mean double the joy, double the smiles, and a lifetime of memories waiting to be made.
