Vivo V60 Debuts In India With Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, 50MP Telephoto Camera

Vivo launched the V60 in India as the latest addition to its midrange lineup. Powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, the phone packs a large 6,500mAh battery and features a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera, 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, alongside a 50-megapixel front camera. It comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and succeeds the Vivo V50 launched in February.

Vivo V60 India Price

Vivo has launched the V60 in India with prices starting at ₹36,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while higher configurations — 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB — are priced at ₹38,999, ₹40,999, and ₹45,999 respectively. The smartphone is available in Auspicious Gold, Mist Grey, and Moonlit Blue colours, and will be available for purchase from August 19 via Vivo’s online store, e-commerce platforms, and select offline retailers.

Vivo V60 Specifications

The device boasts a 6.77-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a peak local brightness of 5,000 nits. It is powered by the 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Running Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15, the V60 promises four years of major OS updates and six years of security patches.

For imaging, the Vivo V60 comes with a Zeiss-backed triple rear camera system featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front camera houses a 50MP sensor for selfies and supports 4K video recording, matching the rear setup’s 4K capability. Powering the device is a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, alongside connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The phone is also IP68 and IP69 certified for dust and water resistance and has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

In terms of design, the Mist Grey variant measures 163.53×76.96×7.53mm and weighs 192g. The Auspicious Gold and Moonlit Blue models are slightly thicker at 7.65mm and 7.75mm, weighing 200g and 201g respectively. This combination of powerful specs, premium build, and colour options positions the V60 as a strong contender in India’s mid-premium smartphone segment.
