Sources told FOX 5 NY that at least six people were shot—one of them a police officer—after gunfire broke out in Midtown Manhattan on Monday afternoon, triggering a massive law enforcement response outside a high-rise building that houses the NFL’s New York offices and Blackstone’s headquarters.

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch confirmed in a post on X that the “scene has been contained and the lone shooter has been neutralized.” Officials have not yet released the suspect’s name or condition
