Woman arrested at Dallas Love Field for alleged threat, police say

Police determined that a woman made what they described as a “threatening statement,” prompting a temporary closure at Southwest Airlines gate 10.

DALLAS — A woman was arrested Tuesday evening after allegedly making a threatening statement while at Dallas Love Field Airport, police said.

Around 6:35 p.m., Dallas police responded to a call for service at the airport in the 8000 block of Herb Kelleher Way. Police determined that a woman made what they described as a “threatening statement,” prompting a temporary closure at Southwest Airlines gate 10.

She was taken into custody and charged with making a terroristic threat, a third-degree felony. Her identity has not yet been released and will be made public once she is officially booked into jail, police said.

Dallas police said there were no injuries reported and the investigation is ongoing.
