From Sony Pictures Animations, the studio behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, comes GOAT. The original action-comedy is set in all-animal world and follows Will, a small goat with big dreams. He gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball – a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Although things seem to be good, Will’s new teammates aren’t thrilled about having a little goat on their roster. Throughout the film, Will is determined to revolutionize the sport and prove once and for all that “smalls can ball!”
The film is directed by Tyree Dillihay, with Adam Rosette serving as co-director. In addition to four-time NBA champion and two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry, Michelle Raimo-Kouyate, Erick Peyton, Adam Rosenberg, and Rodney Rothman were also producers for the film. Executive producers include Rick Mischel and Fonda Snyder.
Similarly to other recent animated classics, GOAT boasts an all-star voice cast led by Caleb McLaughlin (Stranger Things, The New Edition Story, The Book of Clarence).
