The allegations Phaedra Parks made about Shamea Morton come up again in the Season 16 reunion.
Shamea Morton and Porsha Williams‘ friendship has been under a microscope during the current season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” This will continue in the second part of the Season 16 reunion. Interestingly enough, Phaedra Parks is dragged into things when Andy Cohen reads a question from a fan. The fan of the show questioned why Porsha appeared to give Phaedra more grace than Shamea.
“Porsha, why is it so easy for you to be back cool with Phaedra? She put you in a bad position and lied on your best friend. Where’s the grace with Shamea?”
For Porsha, she and Phaedra just needed some time, and the same can be said about her friendship with Shamea.
“So, time is in between and after those years, there was a conversation. Then we got back to this place. That’s not to say that that can’t happen with Shamea,” Porsha answered.
Another fan wrote, “Shamea, do you think Porsha gave Phaedra a pass too easily, considering she sat back while Phaedra tried to make you look like community property? Did you ever sit and resolve this because you seem bothered?”
Shamea answers, “I’ve never sat down with the both of them.”
Porsha responds, “No, with me. I’m your best friend. You did talk to me. And we had resolve.”
Cynthia Bailey and Angela Oakley call out Shamea Morton.
Phaedra steps in, “Let’s just clear this up because it was hurtful to me when I heard you keep bringing it up in interviews, because we are on a good page now.”
She continues, “And when I decided to come back to the show, do you remember the whole conversation?”
Shamea then says, “Yes, I do remember that. But what I’m saying is you dismissed it, and you said me and Kandi were going through something. You never addressed me and the things that were said about me personally.”
Phaedra expresses confusion, “Why didn’t you address it? We were having a private conversation. We talked for a while. I said I was coming back…”
Shamea clarifies, “Bottom line, we’ve never had a conversation about the allegations that were put out there about me.”
Andy asks Shamea if she’s still upset about the allegations Phaedra made back then, and Porsha not defending her at that time.
Shamea answers, “No, I mean I’ve moved on ‘cause I mean it is what it is.”
Cynthia Bailey and Angela Oakley chime in.
Angela says, “She brought it up at Pampered by Porsha.”
Cynthia backs Angela up, “Yeah.”
Angela adds, “She’s still upset about it. Thank you, Cynthia.”
