OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus Pad 3 will be available for purchase in India starting next month. The tablet was first introduced in June alongside the OnePlus 13s, but details about its India launch were previously unclear. While the company has yet to reveal the tablet’s official price, its upcoming availability signals OnePlus’s continued focus on expanding its tablet lineup in the Indian market.

The OnePlus Pad 3 is equipped with Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, designed to deliver high-end performance across daily use, gaming, and multitasking. Buyers can choose between two configurations: one with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and a premium model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Powering the device is a massive 12,140mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, ensuring long usage and quick recharges.

The tablet sports a large 13.2-inch LCD display with a sharp 3.4K resolution (2400 x 3392 pixels) and a smooth 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. Its unique 7:5 aspect ratio provides a squarer viewing area, which OnePlus claims enhances reading and web browsing experiences. The screen also boasts up to 600 nits of peak brightness, ensuring decent visibility in most lighting conditions.

On the software front, the OnePlus Pad 3 runs OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15. It introduces several AI-powered features, including AI Writer, AI Summarise, Google’s Gemini assistant, and Circle to Search. These tools aim to streamline content creation and productivity workflows directly from the tablet.
Multitasking is further enhanced through Open Canvas, OnePlus’s custom productivity suite. It supports drag-and-drop actions and smart split-screen suggestions, enabling smoother transitions between frequently used apps like maps, browsers, and chat interfaces. With its premium hardware and software package, the OnePlus Pad 3 positions itself as a strong contender in the high-performance Android tablet segment.
