AUSTIN, Texas – Austin police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 89-year-old man who may be in danger.
What we know:
Police said Jorge Lopez-Garcia was last seen around 7 a.m. Saturday morning near Meadow Lake Boulevard and Lambs Lane.
He is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 160 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.
Police said Lopez-Garcia has cognitive and medical issues that require daily assistance.
What you can do:
Anyone who sees Lopez-Garcia or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911. Tips can also be sent through Austin Police’s mobile app.
