12News is your home for all of the Dallas Cowboys preseason action. Keep up with all the position battles, camp cuts, and unlikely underdogs grinding away to make the team before the season officially kicks off next month.
The Cowboys are coming off a tumultuous 2024-2025 campaign which saw key players lost to injury as well as the team moving on from head coach Mike McCarthy. By the end of the season the Cowboys limped to a 7-10 record, missing a playoff birth.
The Cowboys do come into the 2025-2026 season with some drama looming. Star pass rusher Micah Parsons is currently embroiled in a contract dispute with team owner Jerry Jones, recently leading to Parsons demanding a trade.
However, Cowboys fans do have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming season. Most notably the return of 3-time Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott. The Cowboys also brought in George Pickens to line up across from All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, giving Prescott plenty of weapons in a revamped under first year head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
The Cowboys also drafted a solid rookie class headlined by Alabama guard Tyler Booker and ever explosive Ohio State running back, Quinshaun Judkins.
These offseason moves along with a plethora of others will be on full display in the preseason, airing right here on NBC12.
