DALLAS — Dallas comedian Ralph Barbosa is bringing more laughs to the streaming world with his second stand-up special.
Barbosa released his first breakout comedy special on Netflix called “Cowabunga,” which ranked at No. 3 on the streamer’s television chart during its premiere week, according to his website. He talked about his dating life, growing up in Dallas, family quirks and more.
Barbosa’s second comedy special, titled Ralph Barbosa: Planet Bosa, released Friday Aug. 8 on Hulu. Barbosa shares his adventures in dating, controlling his temper, working on cars, and his views on current events.
The new special was filmed at Balboa Theatre in San Diego, and is the tenth original in Hulu’s new stand-up comedy slate, Hularious.
On the 28-year-old’s website, Barbosa describes himself as “one of the shyest attention hogs to ever do comedy” and says he employs a disarming, laid-back style.

Barbosa also starred in a 2022 HBO Max comedy special called Entre Nos: The Winners 3,” and has performed for Don’t Tell Comedy.
He also won the New York Latino Film Festival Stand-Up competition in 2021 and the Funniest Comic in Texas competition in 2019.
