WASHINGTON — Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson’s rumored relationship has been approved by the “Taken” actor’s son.
The two actors sparked dating rumors following the London premiere of their upcoming movie “The Naked Gun.” The co-stars appeared cozy together and have been coy about confirming their relationship so far.
On Sunday, the two made a joint appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, where Neeson’s son Daniel seemed to subtly confirm that he approves of the rumored romance.
At the start of the episode, Cohen warned the crowd that he would not ask about the relationship between the two actors.
“But I do just want to say as a very old friend of yours, all of your friends are very much ‘stanning’ this relationship, as the kids say,” the Bravo host said before asking Daniel what he thinks of his dad’s relationship.
The actor’s son smiled and said “yes” to Cohen.
Cohen was close with Neeson’s late wife, Natasha Richardson, who died in 2009 at the age of 45 after suffering a head injury while skiing.
“I was telling him at the premiere party, I go ‘Liam, she is an independent woman, just like Tash was, she loves to cook, she has her own thing going on, she has two boys,” Cohen said on an episode of his SiriusXM radio show. “This just works.”
Cohen and Daniel aren’t the only ones from the “Taken” actor’s inner circle supporting the rumored relationship.
Richardson’s sister Joely, who is also an actress, commented various heart emojis under Anderson’s post about the movie, which included a carousel of photos of the two stars.
“The Naked Gun is finally in theatres! Bring your friends, family, lovers… whoever… just go and have a laugh… it’s good for you! I’ll see you there ,” Anderson captioned the post.
Anderson and Neeson have been playing up the rumored romance during the movie’s press tour.
During an appearance on “Today,” the two were asked by host Craig Melvin if they were an item. Anderson and Neeson subtly dodged the question, though Neeson did say he and the “Baywatch” star discovered they “had a lovely, budding chemistry as two actors” while filming the film.
The pair also teased the audience by pretending to make out on the “Today” show.
