NeNe Leakes Denies Reports of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Return

NeNe Leakes denied reports of her returning to RHOA for Season 17.

The cast of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” recently wrapped up Season 16, and to no surprise, casting for Season 17 has already become a hot topic on the blogs. Kenya Moore has already confirmed she will not be a part of the action in the upcoming season as a result of Brit Eady’s lawsuit. However, Kenya feels optimistic about her chances of returning for Season 18. Another person many fans were hoping to hear would return for the next season is RHOA OG NeNe Leakes.

NeNe had a very controversial departure from the show years ago. She sued Bravo and Andy Cohen. NeNe felt like she was treated unfairly by those in power because of her race. She eventually dropped the lawsuit. Dropping the suit led some of her fans to believe that the door back at Bravo wasn’t closed for good. Fans recently took to social media to celebrate amid reports of NeNe returning for Season 17. Some reports even claimed that NeNe had been offered a friend role. Well, NeNe has addressed the gossip. And she is not returning to “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

In an Instagram comment, NeNe flat-out said she was not offered a contract, despite what was alleged in multiple reports.

She wrote, “They have NEVER offered me to return! Good luck to Season 17 cast. We will be watching .”
