Construction is ramping up on the University of Texas at Dallas’ $98 million expansion to its highly rated business school.

Crews began work in October on the project that will add a new, three-story building to the Naveen Jindal School of Management. A recent state filing indicates that the project is slated to deliver by the end of June 2026. A spokesperson with UTD recently confirmed the project is still expected to be fully complete by summer 2026.

Currently, the building has gone vertical and the second floor is now taking shape, according to a recent social media post. The post from the university added that the building will also create another outdoor event space on campus.

Dubbed JSOM III, the building, which is expected to add 125,000 square feet of space to the current management school, will house additional classrooms, offices for faculty and staff, a new artificial intelligence lab and a new Starbucks. It will also harbor a new executive education space and the dean’s offices. When the new building is completed, the university’s business school will span nearly 450,000 square feet in total.
